February 2014 Favourites!

These are my February 2014 Favourites!

Yankee Candle Honey and Spice Large Jar
I didn't intentionally use this candle this month in the hope of using it up, but I burnt it so much that I did end up finishing the rest of the large jar. I bought this in the Winter of 2012 and I hardly burnt it at all last year but I dug it out of my selection of candles and I burnt what was left of it all throughout February and now it's done and I just love the scent, very much honey and sugar and a bit of spice but a touch of chocolate aswell. Amazing!

Topshop Head Over Heels Blush

I don't even know what made me start reaching for this blush this month, as i'm not keen on the formula or the lasting power of the Topshop blushes at all, but I suppose I just want to use it up and the Head Over Heels is a nice peachy colour so it does look pretty and I have barely worn any other blush this month so it must count as a monthly favourite. It's just a shame it doesn't work for me.

Maybelline Baby Lips Cherry Me

My lips have been very dry this month, maybe it is because I have run out of my staple Burt's Bees lipbalm and have been using an alternative this month which my lips clearly don't like as much. So i've been reaching for moisturising lip products this month, and I went for my favourite in that category: the Baby Lips in Cherry Me. This is almost gone! Can't believe it. I love this so much and will be sad when it's gone, it smells amazing, looks great and is very moisturising.

LUSH Santa's Lip Scrub

To combat the ultra dry lips that i've been getting, i've been using my Christmas themed lip scrub that I got from LUSH every single day and it's really helped my lips feel and look better. I wasn't too keen on the very sweet, lime (cola flavoured) lip balm, but i've grown to really enjoy it now. A real savour for me this month!

Maybelline Brocades Nail Polish 'Knitted Gold'

I remember when this was talked about quite a bit at the end of 2013/early 2014 and I didn't think much of it at the time, that was until I spotted it in Boots and got it as it is just so pretty! I wore this for most of February and it wore very well and I was rather impressed!

Random Favourites!

Three random favourites for you this month firstly styling my hair to a side plait, I barely ever used to do this and for some reason I started doing that this month and have been loving it ever since!

My other two are sport related! I love watching sport and the 6 Nations have been a highlight for me, i'm supporting Wales being a Welsh girl myself. Also been loving the Winter Olympics and congratulations to all of Team GB and our medal winners, it's been fun to watch!

Yankee Candle Snowfall Tart Burner & Votive Holder

Yankee Candle Snowfall Accessories - Wax Burner and Votive Holder (L-R)

If you've been reading my blog for a while you will have come to realise i'm a Yankee Candle fan and I just wanted to show you two of my favourite accessories that I use to burn my smaller candles in.

These are the Snowfall Candle Accessories by Yankee Candle, on the left is the Wax Burner and the one on the right is the Votive Holder. These are the accessories that I use in the autumn and winter, yes i'm that into candles that I retire these around March time and swap them over to the accessories that I use for spring and summer. I can't be the only one who does that? .... Surely.

Hmm, anyway I remember seeing this range in the shop and instantly falling in love with them! The design of the Snowfall range is just gorgeous, with the little snowman and the trees and a little house with a yellow window which lights up when you have a tealight in there. Also the snow falling is a sweet added touch and you can see the shadow of the snow falling on the wall, or wherever you leave your votive holder/wax burner.

As you can see I have a melted wax tart in the top of the wax burner, I find it very easy to remove all the wax melts from the top of the burner. It burns them well and I genuinly don't have any faults to say about this product. Same can be said for the Votive Holder, just incredibly well made, very good quality and just wonderful decorative pieces for your home.

These accessories are I think at least two years old, but they are still avaliable although somewhat limitely. But I have managed to find them online.

Snowfall Wax Burner - £14.25

Snowfall Votive Holder - £6.49

Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo

Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo - £3.99

I'm not one to fall for marketing hype when it comes to hair products, I really just fall for the whole glossy shiny hair and it smooths and hydrates etc, you all know the shampoo adverts. I've never ever ever found a shampoo that truely blew my socks off, it's just shampoo. My this makes me sound very cynical doesn't it? But it's true.

Even Nicole Scherzinger is on the actual bottle of this shampoo! I don't think that is required at all, I mean it's fair enough she's representing the brand and I actual like her as a person, I just don't think she needs to be on the bottle itself. But there we go that's just a gimmicky thing and the whole hashtag thing too, it's a bit much, but I suspect that won't be on the bottles for that long.

Having said that I am a big fan of Herbal Essences, I used to love their Rainforest range of shampoos back in the day, the adverts alone made me want to go to a rainforest and wash my hair under a waterfall! And i've continued to love and use their shampoos ever since.

This is the latest in the Herbal Essences line and that is the Bee Strong Strengthening Shampoo. The reason I picked this up was because it was cheaper in my local supermarket than the one I normally use, and also it was new and as it was a Herbal Essences shampoo it was a brand I liked and also I love the scent of honey so I thought i'd give it a go.

I do love the scent of this, it does smell like honey but it has a more fruity edge to it aswell, which I guess is the apricot extracts that it says it contains. I like that you can see the colour of ths shampoo itself through the bottle, it's also good for knowing when you are running low so you need to rush out and buy more. The shampoo lathers up extremely well (as all Herbal Essences products do, and they are the best at doing that in my opinion), and as usual I am in love with the Herbal Essences packaging.

It didn't particularly help with my frizzy hair, and I didn't notice if it strengthened my hair at all like it claims to do, but it was a nice enough shampoo and I would have no problem with going out and buying it again. My highlighted blonde hair looked lovely afterwards and my hair was nice and soft, and importantly it didn't make my scalp itchy or anything like that. So i'm pretty impressed, and also you can't go wrong with Herbal Essences prices they are decent for the amount of product you get.

Worth trying if you have your eye on this one.

Mac Brush Cleanser

Mac Brush Cleanser - £10.00

I'd vaguely heard of the Mac Brush Cleanser amongst the blogging and Youtube world, but it wasn't until my sister was raving about this product that I was at all interested in it. She actually went out and bought me this very bottle as part of my birthday present last year and I have to say it was a surprising gift to receive, but one that I gladly accepted and was intrigued to try out for myself.

You dispense some of the cleanser onto a paper towel, or that's what i've seen the girls at the Mac counters do anyway so i'm happy to stick to that. Then you brush your dirty makeup brush over the area of cleanser on the paper towel and if by magic the foundation, bronzer, blush etc will remove clean away from the brush. It really is amazing you can do this without using water. And your brushes are bone dry, I just don't know how this is possible.

I honestly think if you are using makeup brushes on a daily basis and especially if you are a professional makeup artist and often doing lots of makeup on different people throughout a day then this would be an essential product to have, as it is all very hygienic and according to MAC it helps to prolong the wear and life of your brushes too, which is always something we want.

As you can see by the pictures I went a bit mad and cleaned all my brushes, well spot cleaned as a matter of fact. You just use this to spot clean your brushes every day or every other day for example, or if you have used a particularly dark eyeshadow maybe.

But then once a week you are supposed to do a deep clean with your makeup brushes, what I like to do is use baby shampoo as it is the cheapest option and it works very well. This is the most time consuming of the two methods but it needs to be done, but if you are feeling particularly lazy one day then this is a good short term solution.

As you can see I now have some lovely clean brushes!

I loved the way this cleanser worked for my brushes, I don't clean my brushes nearly enough as I should do (bad I know) but having this on my dressing table it has encouraged me, and reminded me, to clean my brushes more often and this way is just so quick and very simple. And you don't have to wait many hours for your makeup brushes to dry, which is the best thing really!

Project Pan 2014

I recently saw somebody's video on Project Pan and now i've started watching quite a few and I really love the concept and so I decided to do my own.

I just love using up products, you get such a sense of accomplishment when you do use something up and then you ultimately make room for more stuff. I've actually been trying to use up products for about 4 or 5 months now and i've done well with going through some things. Unfortunately I don't have those products anymore so I cannot show you them, but i'll show you the products i've singled out to try and use up over the coming months. I've not set a time limit on these, i'll just keep going until they are gone.

1.) Simple Essential Lip Balm

2.) John Frieda Frizz Ease Spray

3.) Simple Kind to Skin Vital Vitamin Day Cream

4.) Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss in Hot Pink

5.) Avon Red Dress Spray

6.) Palmolive Passionflower Shower Gel

7.) Mac Creme Cup Lipstick

8.) Pixi Oyster Glow Eyeliner

9.) Clinique High Impact Mascara Sample

10.) The Body Shop Mango Body Butter

Also I know you are supposed to go on a spending ban (beauty product wise) when on Project Pan, but I won't be doing that as I barely buy much these days anyway so it's fine in my book.

Wish me luck!

OPI Ski Slope Sweetie Nail Polish

OPI Ski Slope Sweetie - (sale price) £5.50

What with it finally heading towards the end of Winter (everyone give a big cheer!) I thought I should finally get round to posting my review of the OPI nail polish in the colour Ski Slope Sweetie. It's also a pretty good time to do this as the name of the nail polish is inkeeping with the theme of the Winter Olympics, which is finishing today as it goes so I timed this well, i've really been enjoying all the sport and so to celebrate all things snow related I have been wearing this for weeks and really loving it!

Anyway onto the story of how I came to own this polish. My best friend is a hairdresser and she invited me to come along with her to this salon supply shop near us that sells all the hair dye etc that she needs to do my hair, and anyone elses hair that she does work for, and so I went along and they had a big load of nail varnish there too such as OPI and China Glaze all at really cheap prices. There was so much choice, we were there for about 20minutes trying to choose which colours we wanted, I was good and restrained myself to just this one.

The colour of this nail polish attracted me instantly, its a pearl white colour with iridescent gold shimmer running through it. It's just so beautiful! And I don't own another colour like it amongst my other nail polishes. It is part of the Mariah Carey Christmas Collection, and is only avaliable for a limited time I think so grab this now while you can girls if you want it!

The colour was fully opaque in two coats and it dried very quickly, it lasted about 5 days on my nails before it started chipping so pretty good going. This is the first OPI nail polish i've ever bought and I would definitely go back and buy more, I get the hype around them. The colour selection is brilliant as are the fabulous colour names! I don't want to be someone who buys a nail polish (for example) just for the name, but I probably would y'know, and OPI would be a number one target for that for me.

Very impressed with this colour and i'm itching to go back to the shop and pick up some more colours!

Avaliable for sale for £5.50

Bourjois Delice De Poudre Bronzing Powder

Bourjois Delice De Poudre Bronzing Powder - £6.99

When I first started getting into makeup a few years ago I remember everyone going bananas for this bronzer, it still is a very much talked about bronzer. Especially in terms of the drugstore/high street. It is of course the Bourjous Delice De Poudre Bronzing Powder, although everyone on planet Earth seems to just call this the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer, it's just easier for all us lot who aren't so gifted with the French language.

I was completely engulfed by the hype around this product and went out and bought it. And I didn't even use it for months and months and months, it just lay forgotten about in my makeup stash. Firstly because I had bought the darker of the two colours avaliable, as you can see I have 52 and in hindsight I should've got 51, also back then I didn't understand how to apply bronzer and just what to do with this product at all. But now I know enough about makeup that I now use this product on a daily basis and i'm quite proud to say this is currently the one and only bronzer I have in my entire makeup stash! *pats self on the back*

The reason I haven't gone out and got any more is easily because I don't wear bronzer everyday and even in the summer I don't reach for it either, i'm just not a bronzer kind of gal. But I do use this product to contour my cheeks almost everyday. It is an almost matte bronzer, it has the smallest gold flecks in it which you can barely see and are not at all visable when you apply it so don't worry. I also love the chocolate bar look to this bronzer, I don't think it particularly smells like chocolate. It smells nice, just not a full on chocolate smell.

The cardboard packaging annoys some people, but it doesn't bother me at all. It probably would look better in a nice compact size packaging with a mirror, but i'm not fussed really. It looks good and the actual product works great and at the end of the day that's the whole point of the product itself isn't it.

I've been using this bronzer for almost 8 months now and that's how far i've got down it, if you look at the picture above, barely anything! I feel like this bronzer is going to last me forever! I've never actually see anyone finish an entire one of these. So it's great value for money from what I can see!

If you are looking for a cheap bronzer, or maybe your first ever bronzer like this one was for me, then i'd highly suggest you try it out.

St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub - Travel Size

St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub (Travel Size) - £1.20

I can remember using scrubs since I was a teenager, I wasn't big into skincare as a teenager as I never seemed to have a problem with my skin apart from the occassional spot. I guess I was just lazy when it came to my skincare as a teenager, I had more to worry about back then, evidently. But now i'm big into it and now it's time to reminisce about one of the only skincare products I did use back in the day and have recently rediscovered again.

If i'm honest I don't use this half as much as I used to as a teenager, I was obsessed with trying to get rid of blackheads, especially on my nose, and in the last few years i've just forgotten I had this little travel size sample of this product floating about in my stash, but i'm determined to use this little product up and hopefully fall back in love with it again.

This St. Ives scrub smells like apricots, as the name would suggest, it is lovely and fruity and the scent does not irritate my skin at all. The scrub helps to remove the dead, dry skin and leave the skin feeling refreshed and radiant healthy skin. My skin always feels good after using this.

The little gritty pieces in this scrub are very exfoliating and do the job with helping to remove blackheads and just as a general face scrub. The actual consistancy of the scrub makes it look a bit like a granola yoghurt mix, don't you think?

I haven't tried using this on the eczema areas of my face, I daren't do that and am afraid it would flare up, so I won't be trying that any time soon. The rest of my face faired well with it though.

If I was to use a face scrub then I would go back to using this product as i've used it for so many years and it works well for me. If you want to try this yourself, then the travel size version is a very good way to go before investing in the full size, but then again the full size is only 79 pence more expensive so it's your call.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick - Oxford St. Fuchsia

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick - 130 Oxford St. Fuchsia - £6.49

It's not often I buy a lipstick these days without having seen swatches of them online first or having heard a lot about them, which then makes me want to get it. But this was not the case when I saw this colour for the first time when I was perusing the aisles of Boots.

This particular colour was at the top of the Rimmel display where they put all their new releases and the pink colour, as well as the name Oxford St. Fuchsia drew me towards the colour and I swatched it and loved it. It is unlike all the other pinks I own in my lipstick collection, but I can't quite put my finger on why.

It is a baby pink of sort but it's stronger than that but I wouldn't call it a fuchsia as the name suggests. It's a very opaque colour and feels very moisturising on the lips, as you would expect from a line of lips ticks called Moisture Renew. This particular colour isn't particularly glossy though, i'd label it as an almost satin finish, but it is not at all drying.

I got hold of this lipstick before Rimmel changed the packaging of these lipsticks, the amazing almost Cadbury purple colour tube has remained (which I love!) but the lid is now flat instead of at an angle like this one is. I prefer the new flat lids as they are easier to store and display upside down so you can see the colour, and you won't have to worry about the lipstick falling over.

I've had so many Rimmel lipsticks over the years and I go back to this brand time and time again for lipsticks as they are great quality for the very decent price too. I always get excited when they bring new shades out and i'll have to check out the new shades they've released with the re-packaging of these Moisture Renew lipsticks.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss - £6.99

As we all know I have a love/hate relationship with lipglosses, they aren't like lipsticks where you are almost guaranteed to like them, lipglosses are a bit of a nightmare in terms of trying to find ones that aren't sticky! It's my ultimate aim when it comes to shopping for a new lipgloss.

These are the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipglosses, and I have the colours Coral Reef (L) and Pink Pop (R). Now I must admit the Super Lustrous lipgloss line by Revlon have recently changed packaging and they are now in spherical shaped tubes, I think I prefer this old design packaging if i'm honest as most lipglosses are in circular shaped tubes, but oh well i'm not in charge of the Revlon packaging and the new ones aren't that bad at all really, they have still managed to keep the Chanel-esque look to them with the black lid and the gold band around it.

I do have a few problems with the Super Lustrous line of lipglosses, but i'll start with the positives. As i've already said the packaging is just gorgeous and it's my favourite packaging of all the lipglosses I own, they just look so chique and high end to me. Also the colour pay off is amazing! I've found that with all the Revlon lipglosses i've tried, they've never let me down when it comes to packing a punch with colour. You could easily wear these colours on their own without having to put a lipstick on underneath.

Now to the negatives. I do not like the little applicator, it's like a stump little sponge, not that it really feels like a sponge, but you get what I mean by the texture. It doesn't make it easy to apply the lipgloss. Also the main draw back to these lipglosses is the formula. It's very thick and it is quite sticky, in my opinion. Also from viewing the swatches below it looks a bit gritty but it doesn't feel like that, despite what it may look like.

I don't know if these are something that Revlon have changed now that they've repackaged these lipglosses, they may well have reformulated the lipglosses themselves too, but I don't have any of them to compare the old with the new.

I would not buy these again, not only because i'm not so keen on these particular ones but I just don't wear lipgloss really so I won't go out of my way to buy anymore than the ones I already have and which i'm trying to use up.

Also just to note the Coral Reef one does not seem to be avaliable anymore, Revlon may well have dropped this particular colour when they re-packaged them but there is bound to be a similar colour in the new line. But the Pink Pop one is still avaliable.

Yankee Candle Wick Trimmer

Yankee Candle Wick Trimmer - £4.99

Being a Yankee Candle fan, you sometimes forget about the accessories that Yankee also offer as we all focus more towards the jar candles, tealights etc. But i'm here today to tell you about one of the most useful accessories that Yankee Candle offer and that is the Yankee Candle Wick Trimmers.

The Wick Trimmers are exactly what they sound like, they trim your wicks on your candles and I honestly cannot believe how i've managed so long without one of these babies in my Yankee Candle stash. You can use wick trimmers on any of your candles that have wicks, as the two photos below show you can use them to trim the wicks of your votive candles (right) or the wick trimmers are particularly useful to trim the wicks of your jar candles like you can see because of how long they are you can get right to the bottom of large and medium jars.

You can almost think of them as long scissors, and you place the bottom of the wick trimmers flat against the wax and close them together to cut the wick, which will then stay in the little dish part at the bottom of the wick trimmers, it's a really clever little accessory!

What is also great is that the wick trimmers will cut off exactly enough of the wick so you are left with the perfect height (one eighth of an inch) to start or continue burning your candles.

I bought these after I got quite far down my large jar of my Honey and Spice fragrance by Yankee Candle, and after struggling for ages with trying to get my hand to use scissors near the bottom of the jar I gave up and went to my local Yankee Candle supplier and got my hands on one of these.

I honestly cannot tell you how brilliant these are, if you are a Yankee Candle fan and you haven't got one of these yet then I really urge you to run out and go and get yourself one. These would also make great little gifts for friends/family who are Yankee Candle fans and it's something a little different but very handy nonetheless.

Currently these Wick Trimmers are only avaliable in silver and I don't know if there are any plans to bring these out in other colours, but they look great as they are and do the job perfectly.

Topshop Blushes

The Topshop blushes are one of the most popular makeup items from the entire Topshop range as a whole, the more I heard about them the more I wanted to try them and I ended up getting two of the colours that they have to offer.

First of all I absolutely adore the packaging of these blushes, they are white with black polka dots all over them. The polka dot pattern is the same as they have on their nail varnishes aswell, so it all seems to tie in together with the rest of the range.

I also love the size of these blushes, they are very compact and have a mirror in the lid which is a little bonus and something which everyone appreciates. If I am going on a trip or for a long weekend somewhere, I always take one or both of these blushes with me as they are so compact they are easy to carry around and you don't have to take another blush which comes in bigger packaging with you.

These are cream to powder formula blushes which means that when you first apply them they are a cream texture, then they dry down to a powder formula once they are on your cheeks. I always apply these with my fingers as I just find it easier that way, and as you can see I have used these quite a bit already.

I am not that keen on cream to powder formula blushes myself, and the only problem I have with these blushes is that they don't last long on my cheeks at all, which really annoys me as I just love everything else about these blushes. And it's not like I have oily skin either, I have very dry skin so you would think they would stay put for ages but they just don't unfortunately. They come in lovely bright colours and they have a good colour range and priced at £6.00 they are a great affordable price too.

The two colours that I have are (L-R)

Prime Time - A bright fushia pink
Head Over Heels - A coral orange

I just find myself thinking that I won't buy anymore of these blushes, purely because they just don't last on me at all, which is really gutting.

These two shades of blushes are not directly avaliable on the Topshop website at the moment, but they will more than likely return on there as they often go on and off the website i've noticed. If you want either of these colours I would suggest you check your nearest Topshop store, or keep an eye on the blush section of the Topshop website

Garnier Caffeine Eye Roll-On

Garnier Caffeine Eye Roll-On - £8.49

Who remembers the hype surrounding this product a few years ago? I certainly do! It was like an alien had landed from outer space or something, it was a brand new product that looked and did something that we had not seen of before, as far as I am aware. And to be perfectly honest the whole concept of this product is really, really clever!

For anyone who has been living under a rock for a few years and has no idea about the infamous Garnier Eye Roll-On then i'll give you a little helping hand. It's basically like a pick me up for the eyes, you take the lid off the top and at the top is a metal silver ball which you roll under your eyes and the clear formula that comes out is rich in a vitamin called Pro-Vitamin B5 and importantly the key ingredient, Caffeine to help awaken your eyes more. The silver ball on the end is also cold so it is nice and refreshing and really makes you more alert and also helps to hydrate the under eye area too.

For anyone who suffers with sleepless nights and also those who also have one too many on a weekend and wake up with a hangover and just feeling terrible, and even those who are genuinly ill this is a great product to have. And for any of you studying for exams or have early morning lectures in University this is a saviour, trust me i've been there girls and boys. It really has saved my poor eyes on some mornings!

I don't know if it is the cooling affect of the silver ball or the caffeine or probably the combination of both but it sort of feels a bit tingley when you apply it and you can actually feel it working and doing the job it is meant to. It really is a brilliant product, and hard to describe how useful it is to someone who hasn't tried it. I've converted a few people to this product after I made them try it when they were tired.

Garnier have also brought out this product that comes with a built in concealer, i've not tried that yet but I may consider getting it when this eventually runs out.

A handy little product to have and I wouldn't be without it after a night out!

Maybelline Volume Express Colossal Mascara

Maybelline Volume Express Colossal Mascara - £7.19

I can clearly remember seeing the advert for this mascara when it first came out, the whole idea that it could provide your lashes with like 8x more volume was very intriguing and I completely fell to marketing hype on this one.

However i'm so incredibly glad that I did as this has become my favourite mascara of all time, and it has held that position for a number of years. I try other mascaras, even other ones from Maybelline, but this one still comes out on top for me. I always feel slightly disappointed with other mascars and end up re-purchasing this same one when it's run out, I have lost count of how many tubes of this mascara that i've gone through over the years, it's been a lot.

Just the size of the brush itself is a big talking point of this mascara, it is huge! I don't think I have used a mascara with a wand as big as this one but I have seen other mascaras that potentially are bigger. This is a bristle brush as you can see so if you're into your plastic brushes this one may not be your cup of tea, but for me I just love the big brushes.

This mascara is enriched with a collagen formula which helps to create the extreme volume that this mascara provides. And importantly it creates volume with my lashes without clumping them up which I hate. It enables my lashes to look volumised but also it adds length and separates them beautifully. I do get a lot of compliments on my eyelashes when I use this mascara, and if I could only choose one mascara to use I would go with this one with no hesitation.

It seems to be a popular mascara on reviews by Boots for example but I don't hear many bloggers and beauty youtubers talking about it which I find odd, but i'm firmly on the Colossal Mascara bandwagon! I even love the bright yellow packaging that others may not be too keen on.

Unable to fault this mascara, and with it also being a drugstore/high street mascara it is easy to get hold of and cheap too, well cheaper than high end mascaras at any rate.

LUSH Soft Coeur Massage Bar

LUSH Soft Coeur Massage Bar - £4.75

A massage bar is not a typical beauty product that a lot of people go out shopping and think of buying, definitely for me it would never have even crossed my mind at all. Nevertheless when I received this in a gift box last Christmas I was intrigued to try it.

First of all I love the fact that it is in the shape of a heart, so it has the cute button ticked for a start, but the best thing about this massage bar is the scent! Oh my goodness it is good enough to eat, no seriously I would eat this if I could, it's so scrumptious!

It has the exact same scent as the very popular 'Honey, I Washed the Kids Soap' and also the 'It's Raining Men Shower Gel' and the 'Honey Bee Bath Bomb' all also from LUSH. That sort of honey, caramel scent, but this one is very slightly different in that it has added almond oil in it for it to be able to become a massage bar, also it is an added benefit as almond oil is very nourishing for the skin. This massage bar also contains cocoa butter and shea butter and the best thing of all, as you will be able to see in the picture the brown bits in this massage bar is real edible chocolate! Not that i've eaten any of it I promise.

This massage bar is extremely creamy, just holding it in your hand for a minute it will start to melt when it comes into contact with your body heat. It works very well as a massage bar, so you can either give yourself a massage with it and rub it on your legs, arms and feet like I do but if you are lucky enough to have a partner you can massage eachother, oh I say! :P

The massage bar is clear when you rub it in but the residue can start to turn a bit brown when you get to the bits with the chocolate, so that may put you off but it doesn't bother me just rub it in some more and it will fade away.

The residue from the oils will linger on your skin for the rest of the day, as will the scent, which I was very pleased about. I could even still smell it the very next day!

So if you're in the mood to give yourself, or your loved one, a treat then this would be a lovely little product to go out and get. Especially fitting for Valentine's Day too don't you think?

And on that note, Happy Valentine's Day!
