Holidays are Coming .. in T-Shirt form!

When heading into the Christmas period, I always look forward to seeing the Coca-Cola Christmas advert on TV. I'm from the school of thought that thinks, as soon as that advert appears on the TV I can talk about and get excited for Christmas, it officially has begun in my head from that point on. Call me crazy, but it's what I do. :)

So last year when the amazing company Truffleshuffle brought out this t-shirt I bought one instantly. It's so cool and makes me feel very festive. It's your basic short sleeve t-shirt with the picture of the famous Coca-Cola lorries and good old Santa with the coca-cola bottles.
Coca-Cola is my favourite drink ever and it just makes me want to drink more of it.

It's a great t-shirt, it's very soft and they are always great quality t-shirts from Truffleshuffle, I have been shopping from their online store for quite a few years. I just wish they were cheaper, then i'd buy a ridiculous amount of stuff from them.

This exact T-Shirt design is no longer avaliable, however i've had a look on their website and they have a T-Shirt that looks very similar:

Perfect Autumn/Winter Lipgloss - Maybelline Cream Gloss

Maybelline Colorsensational Cream Gloss - '360 Stellar Berry' - £6.19

Anyone who knows me, knows i'm not a lipgloss girl in the slightest, i'm much more of a lipstick girl without a doubt. I just think lipstick lasts longer on the lips and half the time lipgloss is gone in a matter of minutes, especially if you eat or drink anything.

Nevertheless I do have a few lipglosses in my make-up collection, and this one in particular would be up there with one of my favourites.

The Maybelline lipglosses are totally overlooked in the beauty community, i've never heard anyone rave about them, and I really can't understand why.

They give amazing colour pay off, they are not in the slightest bit sticky (as I would expect considering they called it a cream gloss) but it actually last quite a while on the lips. Especially this colour that I have here '360 Stellar Berry' as it is a dark wine colour it leaves a bit of a stain after the initial glossy finish has worn off. In the tube it looks like the gloss contains shimmer, but this does not transfer to the lips that i've noticed.

I love the sleek, thin packaging and the application is great. And the scent, oh blimey it's amazing. The only way I can describe it is, does anyone remember having orange jelly and vanilla ice-cream together as a kid? It tastes just like that to me. So a nice sweet taste that just brings me right back to my childhood.

I love this colour for autumn and winter, it's my favourite lipgloss for this time of year. I featured it in my November favourites, as it was easily my most worn lip product of last month. I barely wore anything else.

I cannot fault this product at all, apart from the fact I wish Maybelline would bring out some new brighter colours, as the current colour range is quite blah.

This lipgloss can be found for £6.19

November 2013 Favourites

This is the post i've been most looking forward to writing since I started this blog, monthly favourites videos and posts are one of my favourites to watch and read, and i've always wanted to do my own monthly favourites, and now I can!

Well November came and went at a ridiculously fast speed, normally I complain that time is going so quickly but not this month, because December gets here quicker and that means so does Christmas! Which is my favourite time of year!

Anyway onto my favourites.

Tartan Scarf - Primark - £5.00
I did a blog post on this recently (Here) and I am just in LOVE with this scarf.
Honestly, it is probably now my favourite scarf that I own. It's so soft and cosy and I got it on the weekend before Bonfire Night so I have used it for the entire month and I can't get enough of it. I'm not sure if these are still avaliable in Primark, but if you can and you want it, then snap it up now as they are selling like hot cakes.

Nails Inc nail polish - Chelsea Square - £9.68
I have also done a blog post on this (Here).
Vast becoming one of my favourite nail polishes ever, I just love the pinky gold colour of this nail varnish and I have either worn this or no nail polish at all this month. I will continue to wear this into December too, I currently have it on my nails as I write this. :)

Maybelline Colour Sensational Cream Gloss - '360 Stellar Berry' - £6.19
I'm not a massive lipgloss lover, I much prefer lipstick, however due to the beautiful formula of this lipgloss and the colour I just love it for this time of year. It's a stunning plum shade and the gloss is so creamy and isn't at all sticky and because it's quite a dark colour it leaves a bit of a stain too.
I just love it.

Big Baby Gingerbread Ring
I love gingerbread themed items and I have a necklace that matches this, but I have been wearing the ring an awful lot this month. It's very cute and just fits in so well for this time of year.

Illamasqua Gleam Highlighter - 'Aurora' - £18.00
I have been eyeing up this highlighter for a while and back in September (when it was my birthday) Illamasqua do that special birthday treat code thing where you get money off for your birthday, so I treated myself to this and I just love it. I have quite a few highlighters now but it's the only cream one I have and I love it.

Random Favourite - TV Show - I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here
My favourite TV show this month, and every single November, is always I'm a Celeb. It's a very good reality show where they put 12 celebrities into the Australian jungle and they have to do bushtucker trials and all sorts, i'm sure you've all heard of it. And it's presented by the amazingly brilliant Ant and Dec, who I just love! So that's on every single day for 3 weeks (2 days they didn't do it due to the football) in November. Just a brilliant show!

Posts on the Illamasqua Highlighter, Gingerbread Ring and the Maybelline Gloss will be coming up this week.

What have been your November favourites?

Dear Santa . . .

December has officially begun so it's time to start thinking of what we would like for Christmas, now I don't know about all of you but i've been thinking about it as soon as November started.

This is one of the big things I miss now being an adult, the whole writing a Christmas list to Santa was always so much fun. My sister and I used to have get an Argos catalogue and sit there and cut out pictures of things we wanted and stick them on an A4 piece of card with a prit stick.
Oh they were the days! :D

Did anyone else do something like that? :)

Anyway, now being a proper grown up at the lovely age of 23, I have noticed I barely ask for many presents anymore, when my friends and family ask me what i'd like, I always struggle to think of ideas for them.

I've thought about it long and hard and I thought i'd write down my top 5 presents I would like this year, although i'd honestly be happy with just one of these.

After all, Christmas is not all about the presents :)

1.) iPod Nano (7th Gen) Blue - £129.00
Okay, a long shot but I had to put it on there. My old iPod has officially died and I could do with a new one. I am being a bit cheeky here because I do have an iPhone but I can't put all my music on it as it would take up so much memory, so it would be amazing to have an iPod that could hold everything. But equally this is not an essential Christmas present for me, it's a wishful thinking kind of present.

2.) LUSH It's Raining Men Shower Gel - Range from £4.50 - £15.45
My favourite shower gel, ever! And i've asked about 3 different people for this for Christmas, in the hope that i'd get one, no matter which size one. I just love it!

I suspect most of us ask for a DVD/Blu-ray of some form at Christmas, it's also a very easy present to get for someone. This year i'd love the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary episode on DVD, it was brilliant after all!

4.) Yankee Candles - Range from £1.20 - £19.99
I'm a big Yankee Candle addict (as is my best friend) and we're buying eachother Yankee Candles for Christmas this year. The Cherries on Snow fragrance (pictured) would be amazing, but it has recently been discontinued so it's a nightmare to get hold of, but nice to dream right? :)

5.) Mac Lipsticks - £15.00
This one is really clutching at straws, £30 for two lipsticks is a bit insane to be paying (we are in a recession after all!) but I would really like the colours Plumful and Syrup. Please excuse the sizes of the two pictures of the lipsticks, one is wider than the other, but that's just my dodgey work with Paint.

What is on your Christmas Wishlist this year?

ASOS 20% off EVERYTHING for TODAY ONLY!

I wanted to make a quick post about this offer that I just got sent in an email
sent by ASOS.

Offering 20% off EVERYTHING, that's right it says everything.

So if you've been eyeing up something on ASOS for a while, this is a great opportunity to grab it now as this offer is for TODAY ONLY.

I've already taken advantage of it and ordered myself two Nars Blushes.
Expensive, I know and I probably shouldn't have done it, but it's almost Christmas (that's my excuse for everything these days) and also when am I ever going to get the chance to have 20% off Nars products in the near future?
10% yes but never 20%.

So run over to ASOS now girls and boys, run, run!
